Vigil Nomination 2018 Step 1 of 4 25% The Vigil Honor is the highest recognition in the Order of the Arrow. Your nomination is the first step in recognizing an Arrowman for their servant leadership; that nomination will be presented to a committee of youth members tasked with selecting the most worthy. The challenge is visibility to the members of the committee. The committee can be nuanced in their discussion about a nominee’s particular situation, but they need information. The nominator’s role is to gather the facts and put it into a compelling story of attitude and service that is understandable by a mixed group of youth. These tips can help, but nothing can guarantee a selection. The requirements for Vigil are as follows: Alertness to the needs of others is the mark of the Vigil Honor.
